Limestone Coast hosts SEGRA national conference

The Limestone Coast in South Australia will host the Sustainable Economic Growth for Regional Australia (SEGRA) Conference this month.

Around 250 delegates from across the nation expected to attend the event which was secured by the Limestone Coast Local Govt. Association (LCLGA) and the Adelaide Convention Bureau.

“A dedicated team worked tirelessly to achieve success and ensure we met the extensive criteria required to host this event,” LCLGA executive officer Tony Wright said. “The LCLGA and its regional stakeholders are thrilled to proudly support hosting next year’s event in the Limestone Coast.”

The SEGRA conference provides an opportunity for all sectors to explore the key issues affecting regional, rural and remote Australia and be part of providing positive sustainable outcomes to ensure future prosperity.

“We intend to make the most of hosting a national conference of this calibre in the Limestone Coast and the opportunity to showcase our abundant natural resources, quality exports and diverse industries” said LCLGA president Mayor Erika Vickery.”
