ADGE Hotel & Residences has launched a second hotel tower on the former site of the Cambridge Hotel, adding an additional 149 guest rooms to the Sydney property, making 254 rooms in total.

Having consistently outperformed expectations since opening last August, ADGE Hotel & Residences has exceeded occupancy targets, regularly selling out during key events.

“Driving returns for owners through operational efficiencies is a primary focus for our group and we are all thrilled with the success of ADGE Hotel & Residence and excited for this next chapter with the additional tower now open”, said Jerry Xu, La Vie Hotels & Resorts CEO.

“We understand that today’s travellers want more than just a place to rest and ADGE has been a great example of how we’ve been able to deliver a fun, vibrant and sociable place for locals, interstate and international travellers to stay.

“Travellers are looking for hotels with personality, flair and a unique point of difference that creates a truly one-of-a-kind stay close to city hubs, and we’re thrilled with what we’ve been able to achieve with ADGE, with the support of our trusted owners. These added 149 rooms, which carry so much history, will be a welcome addition to the city.”

ADGE Hotel & Residences general manager Paul Cundy said the additional rooms allows the property to better cater to demand surges over busy event periods.

“We’ve loved reconnecting with our guests from the days of the Cambridge Hotel given the essence of ADGE lies in our friendly and dynamic staff,” he said. “The feedback from our guests has been nothing short of great.
