Contactless event technology company Konduko has appointed Clifford Fairbrass as VP for Business Development in Asia-Pacific.
Marcio Faria has also joined the growing Asia-Pacific team in Australia as a new software engineer.
Fairbrass will support Konduko’s ‘Kontactless Smart Events’ product roll-out across the Asia-Pacific region, while Faria will work with the rest of the Australian-based technology team as they develop further product updates and innovations.
“I’m glad to have joined Konduko and at this pivotal time when the events industry is looking at ways to come back stronger from COVID-19,” said Fairbrass.
“I know first-hand how impressive Konduko’s technology is – it delivers significant results, and I hope to be able to work with event organisers across Asia-Pacific to help them get the most out of their events and to return to profitability.”
A Konduko Kontactless Smart Event works by placing Smart Readers on entrances, exhibitor booths and in seminars. These are pre-loaded with exhibitor content that attendees can collect using their Kontactless Smart Badges. In return, exhibitors receive attendees contact details and information about their interest profile. This ‘Digital Handshake’, is an entirely contactless, COVID-safe exchange.
Matt Harris, Konduko Founder & CEO, said contactless technology for events is here to stay.
“Not only does it reduce health risk factors, but it’s also already producing data insight that is driving more intelligent events that deliver significantly better ROI for organisers and exhibitors alike,” he said.
