W Melbourne has appointed Kelly Ferguson as account director - MICE.

W Melbourne has appointed Kelly Ferguson in the newly created role of account director – MICE, as the hotel gears up to meet the renewed demand for business events.

Ferguson joins the team with 17 years’ experience within the business events industry, including roles at The Big Group, Grand Hyatt Melbourne, InterContinental Adelaide, and Hyatt Regency Adelaide.

“We are excited to welcome Kelly to the W Melbourne team, Kelly brings highly credentialled creative expertise in the business events space,” said Damon Page, general manager for W Melbourne.

“She will be leading the charge in attracting new business and creating unforgettable event experiences as the demand for business events continues to climb.”

W Melbourne features over 635 square metres of events space and meeting rooms including 426 sqm of pillarless event space accommodating up to 300 guests.
