SongDivision has promoted Katy Aldrich to the role of general manager of Australia and New Zealand based out of Melbourne.

Aldrich’s career encompasses a seven-year tenure as the appearance and special events manager for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders before joining SongDivision in 2019 as client executive and senior producer.

“Katy’s dedication, creativity, and passion for music have made her an invaluable asset to SongDivision,” said Andy Sharpe, CEO of SongDivision.

“With her exceptional leadership skills and expertise in events, Katy will drive our continued success in the region.”

Previous incumbent Monica Dolso, who has steered SongDivision’s success over the last 15 years, will transition to an advisory-based ‘Special Projects’ role, focusing on innovative designs for high-end, large scale corporate experiences.

“I have always been passionate about music and bringing people together through fun, unforgettable experiences and SongDivision does exactly that,” said Aldrich.

“I am looking forward to taking these passions to the next level and thrilled to be leading our incredibly talented team in creating and delivering exceptional music fuelled programs across Australia and New Zealand.”

The latest announcement follows the appointment of Sydney-based Ardie Worsley as chief marketing officer.
