JW Marriott Auckland to add three new event spaces as part of refurb


JW Marriott Auckland will feature three new meetings spaces from August as part of a multimillion-dollar refurbishment.

The new look 400-pax JW Ballroom and multifunctional 150-pax Auckland Room is open for bookings now for events taking place from April onwards.

JW Marriott Auckland is the first hotel to utilise Microhire’s audiovisual technology for its launch into the New Zealand market.

“JW Marriott Auckland is proud to announce the opening of bookings in our first renovated function spaces, providing local and domestic guests a space to come together and connect, and the first function spaces in New Zealand to offer Microhire’s state of the art audiovisual technology,” said JW Marriott Auckland general manager Girish Talreja.

The full hotel refurbishment includes its 286 guest rooms and suites, overhaul of the lobby and food and beverage options including a all day dining ‘Kiwi brasserie’ with an alfresco area, Teppanyaki restaurant, JW bar, Lobby Lounge  and the exclusive Executive Lounge for Marriott Bonvoy members only.
