Frasers Hospitality Australia (FHA) has appointed Jip van Driest to the newly created role of director of development Australia.
Her most recent position was the development director APAC for StayWell Group, a subsidiary of Japanese hotel group Prince Hotels & Resorts.
In her new role, van Driest will be responsible for building Fraser Hospitality’s Australian portfolio by identifying acquisition opportunities and business ventures, and developing new markets.
“The team and I are delighted to welcome Jip to Frasers Hospitality,” said Matthew Rubie, FHA’s country general manager.
“As we continue to grow our presence in the Australian market, it was important for us to have someone locally based to help drive business and Jip’s hotel investment and operational experience will be invaluable.”
