James Sharrock has been appointed as general manager of the soon to open Lancemore Crossley St. in Melbourne.
Opening its doors in late March, Lancemore Crossley St. has undergone a $10 million transformation at the hands of award-winning design firm Carr.
Sharrock has worked across a range of hotels and resorts in both Australia and Canada, including Hayman Island Resort, the Loden Hotel in Vancouver, the Art Series Group in Melbourne as a guest experience manager, and more recently as area general manager for the Accor/Mantra Group.
“To be able to join the Lancemore team at such a pivotal time for the group and oversee a Melbourne hotel launch of this calibre is not something you get to be involved in very often. I look forward to the next couple of months as we prepare to welcome our first guests to Lancemore Crossley St.,” he said.
Lancemore CEO Julian Clark said they were thrilled to have Sharrock on board the opening.
“With his local background, James will be able to deliver an authentic and personalised Melbourne experience,” Clark said.
