The Sydney Tower Dining and its 360 Bar and Dining will close on March 1 for a six-month revamp.
The $12 million redesign will include a new bar on the top-floor space currently used for events, which on opening will make it Sydney’s highest bar.
Speaking to Good Food, Rod Faucheux from Loop Creative said they wanted “to design a bar that to international and local guests alike appeared as if it had always been there, a time-capsule of the era”.
Joseph Murray, the managing director of the venue’s operator Trippas White, said the tower was “an icon of the Sydney skyline” and “holds a treasured place in the hearts of Sydneysiders and many local and international tourists”.
The hospitality group is also searching for an executive chef to head 360 Dining.
