ICC Sydney continues to champion local wine events

International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) has participated in a number of key wine industry events, including the NSW Wine Awards, to promote local producers and wine makers through its international network.

Now in its fifth year, ICC Sydney’s partnership with the NSW Wine Industry Association builds on the venue’s support for the state’s wine industry as part of its commitment to showcase NSW wine to millions of event attendees that walk through its doors each year.

The venue hosted the 2023 ICC Sydney NSW Wine Awards Luncheon, which saw more than 100 wine makers, industry guests and NSW Governor Margaret Beazley come together to celebrate this year’s trophy winners.

“The diversity and quality of NSW produce remains some of the best in world,” said ICC Sydney CEO Geoff Donaghy.

“In line with our Feeding Your Performance food and beverage philosophy, we are committed to contributing to the performance of our State by featuring 100% NSW wine on our wine lists at ICC Sydney.

“We are delighted to celebrate our wine industry’s finest producers and achievements through this powerful platform.”

NSW Wine Industry Association president Mark Bourne said ICC Sydney’s support for home state wines has been exemplary.

“Not only does the venue team support our industry all year round with a commitment to a 100% NSW wine list, but with their world class venue and passionate people ensure our judging process and the awards luncheon are presented to the highest standard,” he said.
