International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) has appointed Adam Smith as the venue’s new director of building services.
ICC Sydney CEO Geoff Donaghy said Smith’s track record of ensuring the success of major events and leading large, multi-disciplinary teams will be invaluable in his new role.
“Adam brings a depth of industry knowledge, ability and strong leadership credentials to the role of Director of Building Services, and we look forward to working alongside him to drive the continued enhancement of key venue services that include security and venue presentation,” Donaghy said.
Smith was previously general manager at the Australian Turf Club.
“I am delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to ICC Sydney’s world class services and reputation on the global stage,” Smith said.
“I’m particularly looking forward to combining my passion for visitor safety, security and premium services for clients and attendees at ICC Sydney.”
