IBTM Americas has been postponed to August 18-19 and will be held at Centro Citibanamex in Mexico City.
Scheduled for May, organisers Reed Exhibitions Mexico made the decision based on the country’s predictions about the health conditions that indicate that the second half of the year will be more conducive for holding events.
“We are hopeful that this decision will offer a more productive business atmosphere to achieve high quality results, and in a more secure environment,” said show director David Hidalgo.
“We are working on providing enhanced and robust safety and hygiene measures and protocols, hand in hand with international experts. We are confident that we will be able to have our face-to-face meetings in a framework of security and tranquility for all.
“Without a doubt we have all learned that change is a constant, and our industry is an example of that. We remain committed to reactivating the industry, and for this reason, we have worked on add value to our business platform, implementing solutions that complement the face-to-face event throughout the year.”
