GTI retains Singapore Tourism Board role to manage its Victorian sales and marketing

Tourism marketing agency GTI has been reappointed by the Singapore Tourism Board as the destination’s Victorian sales and marketing representation until 2022.

The news comes as Singapore announced it will open up to Australian visitors.

“The GTI team has worked hard over the past two years to grow Australians’ desire for the destination, through all-important travel agent relationships, new wholesaler relationships, increasing MICE business and more,” said Sarah Anderson, GTI’s managing director.

“GTI’s reappointment is testament to the success of this and our relationship with STB, and we are looking forward to working with our partners and associates in the Victorian travel industry to cement the destination’s positioning in the local market as international travel resumes.”

Singapore Tourism Board’s area director Oceania, Stephanie Yong, said the Victorian market had shown significant growth in 2019.

“We look forward to embarking on exciting new opportunities with GTI when borders reopen,” Yong said.
