Adelaide’s SkyCity has unveiled a glimpse of its new luxury hotel which is the centrepiece of the $330 million expansion set to open in late 2020.
Eos by SkyCity will offer 120 rooms alongside new restaurants and bars, conference and event facilities, a spa and wellness centre and expanded gaming experiences.
“Named for the Greek Goddess of Dawn, Eos is an embodiment of hope and optimism,” said Eos by SkyCity Adelaide General Manager Jodi Brown.
“We are incredibly optimistic that the tourism industry will recover, and we are looking forward to Eos by SkyCity playing an important role in bringing visitors back to South Australia when the time is right.”
A suite of signature experiences will be offered to guests at Eos by SkyCity including in-room styling, post-flight treatments, personal training, and an on-call mixologist providing an in-room custom cocktail service.
“From the time they walk through the door, our guests will be welcomed to a new realm of luxury, where a love for the unexpected meets deep local knowledge. Where subtle gestures underpin indulgent experiences,” said Brown.
SkyCity Adelaide general manager David Christian said the new 12-storey hotel and entertainment precinct is really taking shape.
“We are looking forward to working with the wider tourism industry to shine a light on South Australia as a destination and play our part in attracting visitors back to our state when the tourism industry begins to recover,” he said.
Premier Steven Marshall said the development is set to become a major tourism drawcard.
“As a proud South Australian I look forward to welcoming back visitors when the time is right, and to exceeding their expectations with our great local experiences and hospitality,” he said.
