Event Hospitality & Entertainment Limited has launched Got it Covered, a purpose-built mobile site to enhance the organisation of conference and events across QT, Rydges and Atura hotels and resorts in Australia and New Zealand.
Got it Covered offers event planners an integrated, real-time communication tool to manage requests and facilitate seamless and efficient event management.
Event organisers are connected with the hotel team, instantly opening the lines of communication so that requests for AV assistance, room temperature changes, catering requirements, changes to scheduling and any other requests can be completed with no disruption to the conference or event. The technology also allows for event organisers to send direct, custom messages.
“There was a real opportunity to streamline how we support event facilitators in our properties. We conducted focus groups and asked our teams and our clients for feedback on what could improve meetings and events and the result is Got it Covered,” said Patrick Scheiber, national conference & events manager Rydges Hotels.
“The technology is now live across our hotels in Australian and New Zealand and the response has been overwhelmingly positive with clients and hotel teams benefiting from having a bespoke platform that delivers instant requests, an instant response and instant service. Ultimately it means that from the moment you arrive at our hotels to the conclusion of your event our teams have got it covered.”
Grand Hyatt Melbourne has also launched a new dedicated events micro-site which includes a complete virtual reality tour of the entire hotel as well as a carefully curated program of signature experiences.
These signature offerings include rooftop yoga and mindfulness mediation classes, happiness and goal setting sessions, foodie tours and live culinary stations, immersive street art workshops, custom perfume creation as well as select tours outside the hotel.
