EEAA begins the road to recovery with ExpoReady campaign

As most major exhibition centres around the country release their roadmap to reopening, the Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia (EEAA) has launched a new theme to unite the industry and provide a messaging framework to exhibitors and visitors nationally.

While some states are dealing with major challenges, others are ready to resume, with #ExpoReady underlining how the industry is ready to host shows in a controlled safe space.

“This is a time of unity and to really to amplify the messaging that the industry meets the state guidelines,” EEAA Chair Spiro Anemogiannis said.

“Together we can kickstart the industry, so it’s been heartening to welcome new and rejoining members. We are committed to take a leadership role solely focused on the exhibition industry. It’s been a challenging time for the industry members and we have had to find how to best support the industry and now have a clear plan to move forward.”

Gary Fitz-Roy, from Expertise Events and past EEAA board member, has re-joined the EEAA to assist with the exhibitions focus.

“I look forward to working with EEAA chief executive Claudia Sagripanti and the EEAA Board along with all invested parties and kicking some goals in the coming weeks for every state and to rebound as many shows in 2020 as possible,” Fitz-Roy said.

“Our focus has to be around instilling exhibitor confidence which will have a flow-on benefit to visitor confidence.”
