Daydream Island Resort to reopen from July 1

The newly renovated Daydream Island Resort will reopen on July 1.

The only ECO certified resort in the Whitsundays, Daydream Island offers 280 newly refurbished rooms and suites, in addition to its Living Reef, which holds over 100 unique species of marine fish and 80 species of coral as well as nine new shovel nose rays and 10 new epaulette shark babies.

Daydream Island Resort chief operating officer Dilip Madhok said they were excited and ready to welcome back local Queenslanders to the resort.
