Crystalbrook Collection expands to South Australia with $130m hotel in Adelaide

Crystalbrook Collection will make its debut in South Australia with a new $130 million luxury hotel in Adelaide’s CBD set to open in 2026.

Crystalbrook Sam will offer 200 rooms, meeting spaces, restaurant, bar and a rooftop Eleme Spa and Bath House.

Crystalbrook Collection owner Ghassan Aboud said the company has invested more than $1 billion in Australia’s hotel sector operating close to 2,000 rooms, including those under development.

“We are delighted to expand our footprint into South Australia, delivering a new style of luxury, innovation and sustainably-led hospitality to the state,” he said.

Geoff York, Crystalbrook Collection’s CEO, said the city’s growth in tourism underpinned the move.

“Crystalbrook Sam will celebrate the spirit of the local area and community, engaging guests with its own unique style and sophistication,” he said.

“I am confident the hotel will become an integral part of Adelaide’s hospitality scene.”
