Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts has launched its all-new hybrid meeting solutions across 12 Crowne Plaza destinations in Australia.
Crowne Plaza Connections allows meeting and events planners to simultaneously connect delegates across borders and cities through live streaming, creating shared experiences for virtual and in-person attendees.
Planners will also benefit from having one central point of contact to manage the booking across multiple venues, as well as the flexibility of their preferred technology platform to support meetings across Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype and more.
The launch coincides with recent research from IHG Hotels & Resorts that found 50 per cent of Australian adults say business travel and meetings allows them to create meaningful relationships with colleagues, while also improving their working mood and motivation (46 per cent). A further 27 per cent said a lack of business travel in 2020 has demotivated them – something that was most common among younger Aussies aged 18-24 (40 per cent).
Furthermore, the research found 46 per cent of Aussies say they miss face-to-face meetings.
