The Chinese Grand Prix will not go ahead in April due to the continuing spread of coronavirus.
The F1 race was due to take place in Shanghai on April 19.
Formula One chiefs have not announced whether it will be rescheduled or cancelled altogether, with the race one of 22 rounds in the F1 calendar.
The inaugural Grand Prix in Vietnam, scheduled two weeks earlier, is also in danger of being cancelled, according to reports.
The Grand Prix isn’t the only sporting event casualty in China, with the World Indoor Athletics Championships and Tokyo Olympics qualifiers for boxing and women’s basketball cancelled or postponed and all domestic football suspended.
