Chef Luke Mangan opens Sydney’s newest rooftop venue


A new rooftop restaurant and bar has opened in Sydney’s CBD on Level 7 of the Kimpton Margot Sydney hotel led by renowned chef Luke Mangan.

Harper Rooftop Bar is Sydney’s largest open air rooftop bar with a capacity for up to 180 people, hosting everything from meeting breaks and social gatherings to long table dinners, tailored experiences and exclusive buyouts.


“We’ve created a delicious function menu using fresh, local produce and plenty of amazing seafood – the perfect combo to celebrate the warm summer days,” Mangan said.

Mitchell Hacene, Kimpton Margot Sydney’s director of sales, said Harper’s offers a “blank canvas which can be carefully curated to host beautiful events and brand activations”.

“We live and breathe hospitality and know that every event at Harper Rooftop Bar will be executed in ease and elegance but most importantly, will deliver a truly unforgettable experience,” he said.

The venue has also has access to a pool for event buyouts while Encore delivers the AV.
