Bonza CEO denies reports that KordaMentha appointed as advisor

Reports that financial advisors have been appointed to advise budget carrier Bonza on mitigating the financial wobbles of its parent company have been denied.

The Australian Financial Review reported that the carrier had appointed KordaMentha to give operational advice following news that parent company 777 Partners was under financial strain.

But Bonza CEO Tim Jordan has denied the report flat out.

“KordaMentha has not been appointed as financial advisors to Bonza, or in any other capacity,” he said.

Bonza has added new routes to its network after launching last year in addition to debuting a group bookings arm targeting event organisers in October.
