AVPartners raises industry service standards with ISO Certification

AVPartners has taken an unprecedented step to further support their performance by attaining ISO 9001:2015 Certification, a move that has rarely, if ever, been undertaken by an audio-visual outsourcing company in Australia.

“ISO Certification is a very serious commitment to quality, performance and people,” said AVPartners’ managing partner, Andrew Hackett.

“It’s taken two years to achieve and involved a complete review of every policy, process, business system and software application. We’re very proud of our team for their dedication and commitment to the ISO project.”

ISO Certification required the involvement of every member of the team throughout the organisation, with Maria Kirkman joining as ISO project manager in 2016.

“Our commitment to delivering the best service, products and performance made our aspiration to reach the ISO standard a natural next step,” said Kirkman.

“It wasn’t easy. In fact, it’s a daunting task but our teams embraced the challenge. 33 executives and staff undertook external ISO training with a further 12 trained as ISO auditors.”

AVPartners senior partner Merv Jones said ISO “has become a way of life, and our business is better for it”.

“But it’s not for the faint-hearted; it’s a serious management commitment to provide resources to attain and ongoingly support and maintain our business to the ISO 9001 standard,” he said.
