Accor will open its ninth Art Series hotel in Perth’s CBD in October this year, marking the arrival of the Art Series brand in Western Australia.
The $90 million 250-room Art Series hotel will draw inspiration from its incoming namesake artist, with custom contemporary furnishings and original artworks and prints adorning the walls and halls of the hotel.
The art-inspired hotel will also be home to a new international food and beverage destination, serving Mediterranean cuisine and cocktails. The venue will be centred around the hotel’s pool area on level one, directly above Hay Street.
“This announcement reflects the continued expansion and evolution of Australia’s only boutique hotel brand creating art inspired experiences for guests,” said Accor chief operating officer Pacific, Simon McGrath.
“This Art Series hotel will be a truly world-class asset, which will help underpin a broader economic contribution to Perth.
“This major new asset will support the local tourism industry and create new jobs, which are both so vital to Perth and Western Australia.”
Located at 900 Hay Street, the 27-storey hotel by owner and developer George Atzemis is currently undergoing an extensive internal fit-out.
