The Australian Swim Schools Association (ASSA) is gearing up for its 2023 national conference which will take place at Adelaide’s Stamford Grand Hotel this month.
Held on March 27-31, the five day conference will be host to one of the largest swim school events across the southern hemisphere this year, with over 350 delegates from across the nation all coming together in the one place.
This year’s agenda will focus on social impact, innovation and sustainability across the industry.
“We are anticipating that this year will be our biggest conference yet, and we’re looking forward to engaging in some really important conversation for the aquatics industry,” said Emily McNeill, general manager of ASSA.
“It’s been a harrowing year for drownings in Australia, and we are eager to thrust swim safety into the spotlight with a three-day conference dedicated to enhancing all-inclusive education around swim safety.”
The event will also host the Australian Swim Schools National Excellence Awards dinner, which will be held on March 29.
