Accor has appointed Heather McCrory as CEO, North and Central America and added her to the group’s executive committee.
McCrory brings more than 30 years’ hospitality experience to the role which will see her oversee more than 115 hotels and 28,000 employees.
She has previously served as EVP of operations, North and Central America since 2016. In that role, she oversaw hotel operations, technology, design and technical services, spa, retail, rooms, food-and-beverage and integrations and openings, with a focus on employee and guest engagement, service culture, revenue, gross operating profit margins and owner relations.
McCrory also serves as the executive sponsor for North and Central America for RiiSE, Accor’s network to promote diversity.
In 2018, she chaired the organisation’s first Women on the RiiSE Forum, where more than 60 women gathered for professional and personal development, inspiration and networking.
