The Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) has appointed Abdul Khani Daud as its new CEO.
Daud is taking over from Zulkefli Sharif who has been in the role since 2009.
Daud’s first priority is dealing with the fallout from the coronavirus, with MyCEB outlining its response the ongoing situation.
Beyond educating its stakeholders on global developments, MyCEB wants to combat misinformation about the coronavirus, particularly on social media.
“MyCEB, representing the business events community of Malaysia, expresses its heartfelt sympathy to all victims of the illness,” the organisation said in a statement. “The Bureau wishes those who are on the road to recovery the best in health.”
